What is compounding?
Compounding is the art and science of preparing medications based specifically on an individual patients needs.

Yes. A written prescription from a licensed physician or veterinarian is required for compounded medications

Our facility was designed from the ground up as a compounding laboratory. Our staff is trained in the art and science of compounding. In addition, we have invested heavily in specialized compounding equipment and devices. While other area pharmacies say they ‘specialize’ in compounding, they also ‘specialize’ in sundries and in filling regular prescriptions. We are the only area pharmacy solely dedicated to compounding.
What type of medicines do you compound?
Medications that we typically compound are used to treat special pediatric needs, arthritis pain, neuropathic pain, menopause & menopausal symptoms, impotency, veterinary compounds, and much more. We have a class 100 cleanroom in which we prepare sterile and injectable medications.
Do you compound for animals?
We can also provide compounded veterinary medications. Note: Compounded medications from Triangle Compounding Pharmacy are not intended for use in food and food-producing animals.
I need a chemical for a school/science fair/home remedy or workshop. How can I get it?
Sorry, we do not sell chemicals without a prescription. We cannot help you.
